    I80 Full Brother

The I80s do get better with age, just like the Alis. my only knock on him was that the calf did not get very big. weaned at 500lbs. I know the cow had some to do with it.

    Grizzly Bear Calves?

Josh Kastel of Kastel show cattle swears by the bull. He sold a few out of him this past fall and they were stellar!!! He says he is the most consistent clubby bull he is using. The heifers I seen will make really nice cows.

    GVC bulls

The GVC cattle are more maternal. I have seen many breeders use them with success in clubby operations. Look at Pryors. I bull is owned with the Simpkins family in Michigan. They are one of the best kept secrets in the Maine association. look them up this spring, they will have several Ibull...

    Sire Selection

I agree AAOK, I was told by a prominent breeder to focus on the female, build a cowherd out of proven, maternal bulls, that building a cowherd is a marathon, not a sprint. I have seen many breeders crash and burn using that alleged great one on cows that lacked in several areas. (most relates to...

I own a Duff Basic instinct daughter (phenomenal cow) have another cow bred to Duff Hobart (high expectations). easy fleshing, powered up on moderate frames, fertile, and so far good dispositions. 3C Sturdy

we used 3c sturdy 10 years ago and got along great. calves were in the mid 80s for bw. daughters made good cows, bull calves did not have enough power, but they were out of angus cows. they had decent grow (avg. weaning weight was around 620) which does not measure up to what simmy bulls are...

Why is semen on online sales so high?

Watch on several of the more popular bulls. some average joe will start the bidding off, and next thing you know, its the same 2 buyer numbers bumping the price hoping the avg. joe will take the bait and stay on the unit. they create a artificial bidding war hoping their is some poor sucker out...

    Bruhn Incredible Female Sale

A Friend of mine went and said there were a lot of good females in the 2000-4000 range. he bought a RSVP daughter he plans to flush for $4500, a good simangus heifer that could be a future donor at $2500. he felt that he bought both under the money. really happy with the buys he got.

    Bruhn Incredible Female Sale

I heard it was a good sale with a lot of good cattle bringing honest money. would have been worth waiting for instead of paying double the price at Griswolds

    Heading in the right direction?

Like the Embryo matings. I would say you are on the right track with the simangus eggs. The club calf thing is risky. We leased Jades Dreamworks this past summer and WOW!!! What a Bull!!! We have 2 bred to him and have high expectations.

Seen him at the Ohio Beef Expo a few years back. Really neat bull, think he was a PHAC though. Had the look of a female maker.

    Broker calves ?

The cow is a Legacy i believe. She was a division champion in denver as a heifer. Clubby24, take time to check this calf out in person.

    Broker calves ?

I would suggest you see the calf in person. Too many people request pics and then tear the animal apart or the persons opinion of the calf because the photos are not professional quality. this is the only snapshot i have. not a good pic. this calf is worth the trip as well as the unstoppable...
