"AMEN' to that.  We were really impressed when watching him grow, when we first saw him in July and was able to pick him up a couple weeks ago.  He is just pure power!  I cannot wait to see how he does at some shows.

Well I guess that whole " hope not to offened anyone comment" backfired. I was not trying to push any buttons.  I was just giving my opinion not trying to upset anyone.  I am not a stay at home dad,  I work 6 days a week and coach two sports as well as take my children to compete in both cattle...

I hope to not offened anyone but putting the calf on a donkey or tied to  a tractor in my opinion is just lazy.  You should put in the time to work with the animal if you want to reap the awards in the show ring.  You get out what you put in.  If you need to rely on something else to do the job...

We just purchased an April born steer out of Ali and he is all he was bragged up to be!  Guts, rear and hair that just wont quit!

I gues it is gonna be more of a working barn than a show barn.  I would like to put stalls along one of the sides, with a loft on the other for hay storage.

Someone has got to have some pictures somewhere!

Does anyone happen to know the going rate for have someone come to a show and clip and fit your steer?

My son just purchased an Amen steer out of a Who made Who cow and he is freakin awesome!

I like the first one the best,  my fear for the other two would be that theywould be to tall and just do not have the look for me.  Are you hitting the shows in michigan what county will the steer be going to?-

I believe our first show will either be Lima, Ohio The Heart of it all show or Lansing, Mi. at the MSU Beef Expo!  My son also has another real nice steer out of Amen. 

I do have access to that, what do you use for your steer.  And is it just a base that you mix with your corn and oats?
