Anyone know of a reasonable place to order freeze brands? Just want the 0-9 #'s, not real familiar with freeze branding but want to start doing it on my angus cows.

Of course GOLDENCHILD, alot of talk on him. Weights pretty big. You either love him or hate him from what I have heard.  :-\

I bought 3 Ali heifers from Deroucheys last year. 1 show hfr, 2 replacements. Am breeding them now as well, time will tell... Melinda- what sis you breed you Ali's to???

Red- Im sorry about the TH calf and your other loss, thats never a good thing no matter how they die. I was only going to breed one cow to him, my paleface that I think may work well with a heatwave son. Are you not using him again because of your bad luck with the TH or are you just not pleased...

Just curious what kind of color patterns he has been throwing when used on black cows, and how are his BW's? Has he added thickness or bone to the calves, and are they moderate framed? Thanks a bunch,...

From the reports the calves had been pretty big, even out of some low BW angus cows. Of course its all a risk though! How old is your cow? How big of calves does she normally have and what bulls were they out of?

I went, Holly Smith won Supreme Heifer with a Shortorn. There werent many cattle, some nice heifers a handfull of bulls and some cow calf pairs. Its was fun and the premiums were good.The concerts are always good. Since they have moved it to the spring the rodeo and tradeshow have gotten better...

I was considering using Goldenchild on a couple cows this year. One is a purbred Anchor(angus) cow, the other is a Paleface. Anyone use him? How are the calves? Ive heard they are big. What kind of cows were they used on? Thanks!

Shes bred to a maintainer (heifer bull) from Deroucheys. Her mom always had small calves, so I know that theres no worries on that side. Her sire OkieDokie is low BW so thats good. Does anyone have any new Salute calf pics? Ive been dying to see some...

I have an okie dokie heifer(calving this year), she is fairly small framed right now. I have some salute semen, but dont know if I should use it on her. Thanks for any input!
