    We fed this year also, it does make a difference and you will usually be able to recoup it in the sale of the calves.

    I hate to say this, but we sell our best prospects and the kids show good cattle, but not our very best.  It is a business first and hobby second. I do follow how our best prospects turn out.

    Look at daddy, genetics are the #1 factor in hair but obviously environment can play a factor.

    Hate much?  Monopoly was meant to win titles and from what I can see he is pretty successful.  Your consistent bulls may work on the range but you will get your doors blown off in the show ring.  You are trying to compare apples and oranges.

    Bluing shampoo stained my calf purple today!

    Ever leave oxiclean in a bucket without cleaning it.  Not a good idea, all of it crystallized  tt was easy to clean up though.

    Thought opening ceremonies were very well done.  Didn't know what to think of the lighting until all those petals rose an d the fireworks were spectacular.  Will be tuned in tonight for the swimming.

    Feet placement will be what I worked on to get that topline up.  Work the showstick on the belly and see if that will help.
