We don't need any more rain in Iowa for awhile at least some of us. I wish i could send the rain down south.

The vet came yesterday and medicated all of the cows and calves, and put a patch on the ones with pink eye. Now lets hope the Pink Eye clears up.

Nice show steer, really sorry to hear about the other colored up steer.

We had our professional AI guy breed her, and he said to wait until she goes out of a standing heat, so we did then he came out and bred her at 8:00am.

We bred the heifer at 8:00 in the morning and the next day she was still in heat at 12:00pm.

We had a heifer A.I'ed she was in heat that day but then the next day she was still in heat. Could this be a false heat or is she going to have twins? Just curious.

We used LA 200 that seemed to work and we have the vet coming to treat all the cattle around here on the farm.
