sun seeker and jimmy the greek

This is unbelievable.  Any calf that is 145 pounds is rediculous.  We should all stop and think of exactly what postition we are getting ourselves into when this happens!

    Monopoly X Who calf

He looks like some of mine.  Pretty complete, big bodied, sound, and some look.  I would call it successful.  Some may not like him because he's not freak boned, huge butted, and post legged.  But I think he should be fine.  Just thought I would comment since noone else did.

see what you think of this bull calf.

I like him if he is not straight.  I have had a Just right bull for a long time with good results.  Won a Light weight chi class with a son last year in Houston.  We had a calf that won the middle wieght Angus at San Antonio and the Light Weight Limmis at SA out of the original Just Right and...

    Blue Roans

We've had a lot of blue roans out of Blue Blood from Sullivans/Duello.  They are good calves as well.

    HOUSTON

I have always thought Daniels was the best and he proved it again.  We were very fortunatel yes, I won't go into that but he chose complete, sound cattle with muscle.  I thought he did a particularly good job in the LW limmis so I'm not sure what your talking about there.  Granted I didn't watch...

    show feed

A new great feed from Purina is IMPACT Club Calf.  The commercial version has been used for the last few years with great success in Texas.  A few breed Champion at Majors on just a handful of people using it.  It is a spinoff of the commercial version and uses some unique ingredients such as...

    OCC Homer

Any real low birth bull is going to throw calves that are not physically impressive in the beginning.  As time goes on they will be better but maybe never what higher birth calves will be.  But I do know a live average calf is more valuable than a dead good one.

Full Flush - Has his time come and gone?

I think some of the old stuff like that will still work well when use correctly.  I saw one three years ago at Houston that won the lightweight AOB class going away.

    Sunglo Epic and Full Tank

Full Tank works great about 2 weeks out.  I'm not sure any of the hair stuff works as well as just keeping them out of the sunlight.

    Open Bar

I thought the best bull in the Maine sale in Denver was an Open Bar.  I think a few other good ones there also.

    San Antonio Results

This is great.  You can tell who got pulled and who didn't on this thread.  McClintock was wonderful.  I liked him being unique on the mic and his cattle were complete and sound with enough muscle and style.  You guys that can't see structure should continue to get buried until you can.  There...

    Jakes Proud jazz calving ease

I know someone who bred about 30 to him and wouldn't do it again.  Granted these were clubby type heifers though.  There were some tremendous calves out of the group though.

    Young. Clubby bull wanted

I've got about 12 bulls to look at.  A TH PHA clean Heatseeker son, Carney Man X Angus, Power Plus grandson, Heatwave son X Power Plus, Maine X, and 20X (charolais) X Full Throttle Daughter, to name a few.  Also a Jakes Proud Jazz X Charolais.  I haven't attempted to sell them yet but would be...

    Ft. Worth steer show

I'll second this opinion.  It's not totally the calf as much as it is who is taking the calf through the sift.  I heard of many purebreds getting kicked out and the only good way to do it is DNA testing.  It would help registered breeders out tremendously also.  It's really frustrating when you...
