I would say the top is built up with about a foot of mulch, then a rubber mat is placed down, then we put shavings down, so about 18 inches up top, then around 6 inches at the base from the concrete to the top of the shavings. But as soon as you add cattle they will paw up the shavings and it...

Im talking about the bonhams.... The bohnams can produce or find a good one, sell a good one, raise a good one, slick, or hair. Its not so much the families down here, if you are sold a bonham calve, they take care of you and help you get the animal along.  Thats were I am wondering what...

Its not so much the families who buy them, but the place they buy them from..

My calves are set at a slope for many different reasons. It works for us!!

Sorry for getting off topic a bit. How did she do in SA? I wish we could have brought ours up there.. I think star power gets more bad rep than he should.. I have seen to many good ones to say he isn't producing nice cattle.

Im with Jeff on this. The reason that Bohnam wins has nothing to do with the politics..its the cattle that they show up with...They started down at the bottom just like everyone else does, they just have got this figured out. Don't hate the player, hate the game... Did he pick a different style...

Yup!! Haha, you can also try there finishing feed, Finishing Touch if you really need more finish, but you would be fine with the feed you have and power fuel. Just contact your local Purina dealer!!

If you want to go a cheaper route, try HSC power fuel..we feed it to our heifers, and it does a great job of putting on the right amount of cover without getting her to fat, it will not burn the hair, in fact it helps grow hair, it also contains TASCO which lowers the body temp to keep calves on...

Another thing...he looks like he will throw a tail head into one. Quite a few SPs have had tall tail heads.
