Nice calf!  I have a heifer out of Hired Man that is FINE.

I've seen this heifer in person, and she is FINE!! She's as good as anything out there, and would do great at the southern majors this fall.  And Nathan is an outstanding young man.  He's limited on how many animals he can keep, so don't miss a good opportunity.

I don't care much for the feed from TSC because of the freshness issue.  I think they order massive quantities, and if you're unlucky enough to get the end of the order, the feed is moldy or spoiled. I think you can do better at a local feed store that perhaps keeps a smaller supply, or orders...

Yup, they are like the plague in Texas this  year.  In the years we have a wet spring they aren't so prevelant because they get a fungus that kills off the offspring.  In these dry years, they don't have anything to kill them off other than birds, and there's no way they can keep up with them.

Nope...sounds normal. I was wondering if there was other maintenance besides cleaning the filter.  It hasn't been used enough to be wore out.

I'm having trouble with my Sullivans blower (3 years old) running hot!  I've cleaned the pull out filter, but after about 15 minutes of use, the hose is so hot you can barely hold on to it.  The cover over the front is the same way.  I've got the heat turned off the unit. Any ideas?

Boy, stuff like this sure make a person glad they pay taxes so the government can continue spending it stupidly.  The last time I was at the grocery store and the person in front of me was using food stamps to buy bottled water about put me over the top.
