Beautiful heifer!

We stay at the Holiday Inn every year.. luckily our breed has a block of rooms there!  The location is perfect!  You can walk to Reliant, and park right out  back with your parking pass.  It's nice to not have to drive back and forth!  You can sneak out for a quick nap and no one will even know...

As far as hair is concerned, Dream on wouldn't be my first choice.. or even fourth or fifth.  My DO cows are pretty slick.  My Mo Better daughter has good hair, and I've got a DO / Triple C Ponderosa Rey heifer that has TONS of hair.  My entire calf crop this past year has been exceptionally...

I inquired about this a few months ago, but didn't know definate information! We're looking for a fitter for Ft. Worth, open Simmentals.  January 26th, through January 30.  We're taking 4 to 6 head.  Anyone available?  If so, please let me know what you expect, and how much you charge!  Thanks!

Price please?

Has anyone had experience purchasing "full pasture rights" on a breeding bull?  What exactly does it entail?  I realize insurance will be involved, but what else would I need to consider?  Besided a padded stall?  <cowboy>

Just a suggestion.. when you take the pictures, try standing straight out from the shoulder.  It's hard to tell much from that angle.

I agree.. .post some pictures!  Sometime it's hard to get heifers "stuck" doing AI.  If you can find someone that has a bull, and is willing to take the risk, you could probably get more than the auction barn.  I wouldn't count them out yet!

lol... that was funny, the "heifers running wild".  I had actually left the banquet to go take our heifers out to tie outs, and there was me and one other guy loading a trailer at the barn!  Bad joke, if that was the intention! Congradulations Scott!

Not quite 5 months older.. weighs about 550 lbs. On feed, super quiet. Would make a great county fair steer and can be registered as a Purebred. He is sired by our Mo  Town x Perfection herdsire and out of a purebred Black Joker daughter. Priced at $650.

I've got a bull from Grindstone Creek that's a Mo Town out of the Perfection cow, and he's thrown about 95% white faces on my calves.  I've got Simmental, Simbrah and Brahman cattle, and I've been getting mostly white faces on the Brahman's calves as well, which is pretty hard to do. I've never...

I think this has been addressed before.. buy WHY doesn't anyone want to just post what the prices are on these calves???  It seems to me you could easily weed out the "tire kickers" that way.  It looks like the same people reply to all the posts for prices and locations, but I'm sure they aren't...

I would be very VERY careful of any type of "business opportunity" where you are required to pay something up front.
