    First Generation Rancher

I am trying to break into the cattle industry as a first generation rancher. I am lucky to have a mentor who has been in the business for most of his life. I plan to here soon sit down with him and really pick his brain about his success and failures. I wanted to see if you guys had any...

    planning out 2015 show season

Our state fairs entire open female show was done by 12 this year. None of the breeds are big but there is no Hereford show left we are just put in the "other" category now and we are getting tired of not being judged with other Herefords.

    A sticky situation

Sometimes being involved in to much at once can teach some great lessons of its own. As they get older they will learn time management and to cope with a busy demanding schedule. NWSS Steer Show Info

buy the nicest calf you can without going broke and work your butt off! A $10,000 steer can be out of the money just as easy as a $2000 one. Showing at Denver is a great learning experience no matter what and some spend their whole lives trying to win Denver and never do.

Make sure you get the point across...

    Denver '15 bulls

Jeff I just have to say I personally loved your videos, they were very professional and as someone else said promoted all the bulls on a level field. I can totally understand where you are coming from though. This may be on example where so much instant access to media is a bad thing and all the...
