Its always extra special when its one of your own in the ring! I was a beef leader last year for Intermountain so I probably saw you guys at fair, and you are right it is nice to see people in our area so into show cattle!
Lindsey- We do use mave tamer on the other cattle for really kinky spots but we would be going through cases of the stuff with this guy O0
Rochholz- looks like come cool stuff!
Willow- you from the area?
We show registered Herefords so wavy hair is nothing new to us but this years bull calf is like a POODLE! We use olive oil (ethnic hair products) on our others and it usually does the trick but Im at loss with this guy. Any ideas out there?
Could you photograph him beting fitted and have that avaliable while he is on display? This would show you have nothing to hide but will somewhat show that he can look fancy.
I say go for it! I do like seeing bulls "all dressed up" but would trust an unfitted one a little more.
Our county is very much like what Bryan said. However the animal does not have to be born in the county but the producer must be a county resident. We have many producers that run cattle in multiple countys so they go by residency
He is a 9 month old calf out of BAR JZ CROSSFIRE 593S. He was brought off the mt. about two weeks ago and weighed in at 910. Pics were taken today while I was washing him hes still learning to set his feet up so his placement isent the best.
