Can you tell me what the difference in these two products and opinions on each.  We have some younger steers this year, and a american trying to fatter a bit quicker although shows not till Jan-Mar '11.  Should we be feeding this now or wait a while.  Calves weighing from about mid 600-800 lbs. ...

The thing is there are so many variables.  Rich, poor, age of kids, ranch/or no ranch, doing it as a business,  or just for the kids.  I showed as a kid (age 12-16) and absolutely loved it.  My Dad made me do all the work.  Bought cheap calves, raised a few.  I even remember hooking the trailer...

Son has a new steer this year, a american steer probably weights 700-750?  Maybe more.  When first got him got the halter on him and seemed pretty gentle. But now that has grown a bit has decided he doesn't much like the halter or to lead at all.  Runs like the dickens and show us who's boss...

We have a few nice steers and heifers ready to go. Here's a couple.  These are sired by Lauters Mellow Yellow. Had a 1st place Chi heifer last year off the ranch in both San Antonio and Austin, reserve overall in Kerrville. A 13th place AOB in Houston with a Paddy sired steer. Thanks
