Last year when watching the shows I noticed a few calves that just seem to walk like they are on clouds.  Just so smooth and easy.  Really pretty to watch and of course these calves most of them placed well.  This one heifer in particular won the class. As I mentioned this bull will mainly be a clean up bull.  We still AI our best clubby heifers and 2nd year calvers, and our best proven mature cows.  We are hoping for some nice females perhaps out of him, and perhaps AIing them to some nice American sires down the road, so we don't get that...

How much of this do you give and how often?  Is asprin bolus the same thing?

He has some real impressive breeding behind him on both sides that's why we bought him.  He is loose fronted because 1/2 Brahman (on dams side) and full blood Braunvieh on sires side.  I'm thinking he'll make some really nice females crossing with our blacks.  Like humans sometimes I think good...

Thanks for the feedback... he's out of a SIMBRAH cow (one of the top dams in the breed, and a BRAUNVIEH Sire.  We have bought him for a clean up bull on our Maine/Angus (and a few Simmy Angus cows).  I personally like Braunvieh although most clubby guys don't.  Mostly looking for good heifers...

Can you really sharp cowmen out there critique this bull. 

Well there's lots of things to think about?  Do you own your own herd (free and clear) or are you just riding someone else's coat tails... How much land do you have free and clear ...  (is it actually deeded in your name?) and even if all these are YES answers... I still think school can't hurt...

This is just one of a bunch I got today via email... all running in other countries.  They are really getting a good laugh at our USA these days. I couldn't help it with the upcoming elections this one really made me laugh.  (better than crying I guess!!)

Thinking of using a nice cleanup bull in hopes to  throw some nice heifers to keep for the herd.  Want some show quality characteristics and hopefully docile and not craziness that some Americans can have.  We wouldn't mind a mix of some Braunvieh either.  Know this is a tough one but...
