How early is too early to start feeding corn (additional) to get a calf fat?  Have a american that seems like not getting there fast enough.  Worry about getting too tall... shows still months out (TX shows) so could you experienced (years feeders) offer some advise for my sons last year showing? 

Ok question... we fed it last year after we got the heifer and the steers almost there.  (holding them) But is there any reason to feed it prior to that?
