Gold Dust. The calves out of him this fall have been excellent. He is working on those more clubby made chars.

I thought Safe and Sound was one of the best in Denver. Just real good made, super complete, and soft on his pasterns. Will be interesting to see his calving report this spring.

I thought long and hard about posting on this thread but at the end of the day I have decided to speak my piece. I used to sell semen, buy calves for them, and help with fall sales. When I would go to a farm and buy a calf they would get paid before the calf was picked up. Where it falls apart...

They must not want to sell it very bad as I have emailed with no response as well and tried calling with no answer or return phone call. I just wanted more information and would probably at least try it if I could get a returned email or phone call. Just my experience so far.

Holy moly now thats planning a head!!! 2016..... We usually just stay at the Quality Inn or the other one connected to Teddy's. Not fancy but its super close and we exhibit cattle there so its easy to access from the grounds especially if you go the back way.

Olsen I completely agree with you. When I saw those pics I thought the exact same thing. Its fall and of course they are going to hair up a bunch no matter what you use. Would like to know if anyone has had any luck with it in the summer months?

Im sure the market will be flooded with son's this coming year. I would venture to bet that over half of the bulls displayed in Denver this year will be MAB sired.

Agreed!!!  (clapping) I know if someone shows up to my place ready to write a check and they have a trailer with them I will price them lower or let the bargaining begin. A check today is worth more than holding on to a calf or two for a few more weeks or a month. 

These guys are getting really good at these online sales. I have been on both sides (buying and selling). The sellers can have their own bidder numbers and are bidding them up. Also a lot of these online sales companies have guys working the sale and will have phantom bidder numbers as well and...

Black one went to Randy Schurring of South Dakota and Red and White went to Randy Goddard of Iowa not sure where the 3rd one ended up.

That heifer did not sell for $10,000. The lot 1 steer brought $10,000 and she was lot two and brought I believe $6500. Another question would be why you would post a picture of someones else's calf and ask why it would bring so much?? If I was the seller or buyer of this calf I would be furious...

I have seen floor prices from $1500-$2000 on steers and $2000-$3000 on heifers. Seems to me that people are willing to pay more this year than in the past. Judging from the online sales however its hard to tell what is really sold or what one truly brings on these online sales.
