Photoshopped pictures will loose my attention guaranteed. If I turn to lot 1 and there is an altered photo, the catalog goes in the trash. And it seems the fancier the catalog the more they alter the photos.

What a sad state of affairs the cattle industry is in. Is it so corrupt that you can no longer trust your fellow breeder? The EPD's are corrupt, birth dates are fudged, pedigrees can't be trusted, genetic defects not disclosed and judges use politics to decide the winner. How disappointing.  :'(...

I don't think anyone said that any specific animal should be disqualified. But instead be shown in the crossbreed or commercial class.

To a degree I understand why some breed associations have abandoned their genetic heritage. Their genetics were used for single traits inclusions to other breeds genetic pool. Once that was accomplished their genetics were no longer needed. So to survive they became registered cross.

Bravo Steered! (clapping) But I would go father. I would think that those in charge at the State Fair should not allow a breed to be granted its own class if it allows animals of less that 7/8 purity. But how dare we have standards. JMHO

Depends if you are going to keep the calves or not. I have seen a lot of Final Answer cows that have terrible udders. I think he is to far out CE that I have heard that there can be some second calf birthing problems if you don't watch what you follow him with. I am not a big fan of OCC...

That is a nice calf no matter what is its the pedigree. Besides is there really any breeds anymore? Especially when it comes to steers and the show ring.
