Thank you for the comments. I was fearing the worst :) I can't wait to breed my yearling. The breeder told me she comes from a good cow family and should milk real well. The one we just had this spring comes from a good momma so I'm hoping she will make a good replacement heifer.

Just curious if anyone has any Walks Alone heifers that have calved yet. I know Walks Alone is an 08 model. Would there be any daughters having their first calves this year? If so, what kind of mommas are they making? I have a yearling I plan on breeding this summer and I just had a chromed up...

I thought the same thing. I would be interested in using him on some heifers but my dad is still skeptical. There was a heifer on here that was for sale out of him. Looked pretty nice. Love to hear if there are any others that have used him.

We had luck using Yellow Jacket on a Shorthorn cross cow. Had some nice steers and have a YJ heifer that's getting ready to calve anyday that was 2010 Reserve Supreme at the Frederick Co. Fair and Reserve Crossbred at our county fair.

We induced our recips this past weekend and the only problem we ran into was a couple of them didn't want to lay down and push. They didn't have much discharge either. Their milk came in after the calf was born. I would have the vet come back and check her out just to be on the safe side. Good...

I don't know much about Predator but from experience the Gucci calves I have had are quite stylish. I have been so happy with them  I kept one for my new herd bull. I have 2 steers for sale in the classifieds that were out of heifers. Not the greatest pictures, but might help with your decision...

We had one bred to I-80 go 7 days past last spring.  Basically, if you feel concerned, then having the vet come and getting his/her opinion would be  the safe thing to do. I don't like taking too much of a risk when it comes to heifers. If they go over a week and nothing, then I want to know...

My AI bred heifers are due the 6th and most of them have bags about the same size as yours. I have 1 that is bigger and swelled a little heavier than the others, but I'm pretty sure she's gonna come a little earlier than the rest. Good luck! :)

Gorgeous female! And congrats on all of the successful flushes! Averaging 20 freezable eggs every time is impressive. Sounds like she's a great donor. We just flushed a Godfather cow to Thriller and got 17 freezable eggs. So, keep us updated when you have some hit the ground. Would love to see...
