    Super looking bull...

IMO, for those who did not see him, this guy is pretty rare and special and was compelled to post his video. He covers the ground the way a good bull is suppose to (effortlessly). Plus, he is super balanced and smooth from head to toe . Sold last night and think we will be hearing a lot more...

    Rat Tails...

Have seen a good percentage of rat tail (short tails) show calves, out of popular genetics, in this years calf crop. Can some enlighten us as to what is going on genetically? I thought this was primarily in some Charolais genetics. Is Grizzly Bear, Ready to Rumble, etc. carriers, or is it coming...

    Monopoly x Heatwave matings...

I have seen several impressive champion steers of this mating combination and was wondering if this is going to be a new trend for producing show steers in the future. Are some breeders just using clean HW cows to get these good ones? Would this be a more consistant mating then, say something...

    MAB son...

Found this little guy by accident and thought he looked like a super functional bull prospect out of a High Definition cow. Personally like just about everything about him. Both PHAF and THF and registered Maintainer. Comes from Bushman Ranch in Utah. The Duke

    Ready 2 Rumble...

Just curious if anyone used Ready 2 Rumble this past year? Was looking at his full brother (Lautners blog) who also looks real good.

    Harkema's DCC Way Cool

I was just curious if anyone has some knowledge of Harkema's Maine bull, DCC Way Cool. Really like the pedigree. Noticed his dam is a previous donor for Derouchey. BPF has a daughter in their donor arsenal out of her as well. Really think the pedigree especially on the cow side.

Film about cattle production; Southern France

For those who have time..  This is a short film about the Aubrac region and how one producer manages his herd of Aubrac cattle. It's twenty-five minutes but is well produced and entertaining. I think one can get a good understanding even though it's in French. Ferme des Vialars

    New prospect bull...

For those who have not seen him... I-80 x WMW x Chiller. From Jim Cowan and Fred Derouchey. Think he looks about right for making some show steers. Might be a bunch of cows that could work with him. 1/3 interest selling and going to Denver...

    Chipotle's new video...

I think this is a clever and well made video but also think they crossed the red line. Does Chipotle go too far in mocking production agriculture?  Is this brainwashing or a form of fear tactics? The Scarecrow

    Urbanville, USA...

I live and work in Urbanville, USA and thought this was a good read for those folks who are clueless about their food source. The GMO paranoid folks in particular.
