simple tips: during commercials do some stretching or some simple exercises. Instead of weights use canned goods. Jump rope w/ your kids. Park far away from store & walk. Play w/ Frisbee w/ your dogs or catch. Walk the pasture. Red

we used to have a possum that would eat cat food that was on the porch. So far no skunk instances but just as I say it this it will happen. Heeler has treed a lot of ground hogs. Red

if you have one carrier you have a 50-50 chance of the offspring being a carrier but alive. I might need help on the next one, lost my marbles way back. 2 carriers: 50% clean, 25% carrier & 25% chance born dead or deformed. Red

we went over 2 years without a bull. Last year we had 3:4 bulls vs heifers. Starting out w/ 2 heifers. One cow has had 7 heifers & no bulls. Red

Questions answered: It's a Nikon 40D. I wear the neck strap! No idea on why I'd be offended on white calves. It's short cut straw. I have no idea why you can't see the pictures. That might be a Jason question. She weighed 75 pounds which is wonderful for us! Thanks for the comments! Red

I was amazed at how much body tone I lost by not doing chores or breaking calves. I'm still at it by working out. felt guilty that I gave myself Sunday off. We're also trying to eat better, less sweets & more fruit & veggies. Hard to break the ice cream habit. Keep it up guys!!!!! Red

if you use him make sure the cow is clean. I've only used him once. The heifer produced a nice Ali calf this year I heard. No bad temperment issues here but her dam is a sweetheart. Red

KK is more of a champagne color. He will not acknowledge that he was born in a JD backhoe. One of the brothers would take the whole litter for a ride when he used it until the mom moved them.
