If you are shooting for show steers I would not use Enuff--probably too big mature frame size. Reload and 146 both need to be used on deep, big ribbed cows that are super sound. Nitro can sure give them a cool look--not massive bone and thickness, but sure adequate, especially for breeding...

No--the somewhat overpriced semen tanks won't kill any of your cows or create a vet bill....... (lol)

Don't blame you a bit--in my opinion, you need a proven mating AND a marketing plan to invest $500 to $1000 per straw for semen. Of the bulls I mentioned, I believe Channing is the highest priced at $50/ straw. Good luck with your matings!

While I agree that price should not be your first criteria in bull selection, your $100 figure quickly eliminates Online ($1000) and Moler ($500) and "package bulls" such as Golden Oak Outcross.  That being said, there are plenty of options for both the cow and heifer. Proven heifer bulls...
