Are things any better this week with the steers than the past 2 weeks were?

The family is keeping the commercial herd so most likely the bulls will be used on those cows.  They are only seling the cows that Nick had geared towards club calf production.

From what I've been hearing one of the two washracks had to be closedlast week and haven't heard if its useable now or not.  The people are supposedly just as friendly, helpful and accomodating as they have been in recent years (sarcasm).

Why sell all the equipment then?

Anyone make it over to the sale yesterday?  I wasn't able to but would like to know how much several lots brought and where they went if possible.  Did they look as good in person as they did in the catalog?  Thanks. lots 1,6,7,13,16,17,26,27,3039,40,47,52, & 56? 

Check with McKay or some of the bigger distributors that have been around a while may still have some in their tanks.

Where are the best heifers, steers and bulls at this year?  I've seen some good ones online but nothing in person.

What did he do to warrant that?  We have shown under and watched him judge many times and never seen anything really inappropriate and have always thought he did a good job.  Like all judges you get the occasional politics but the cattle were good enough to win regardless of who was behind them...

What did the yellow Rist steer end up doing?  Or is he targeted for somewhere else?
