Put her in a squeeze chute or somewhere where she can't hurt the kids or herself until she accepts them.  Some cattle just don't like little kids, don't know if they see them as predators or what.

Kris Black had and sold him in the mid to late 90's in a sale to a guy in deep south Texas, kind of got under utilized and probably not an abundance of semen put up on him.

Cody Venable had a shorthorn marked/crossed bull named Chili in the early 2000's, that's all I remember on him.

Seems like a no brainer to me.  You have the option of turning her out with a A.I. sire or take the time to A.I. her, I'd turn her out in a heartbeat if it were me.

There was a club calf bull named Sure Bet also, but he had a name change and I can't think of what is was changed to/from right now.  I'm pretty sure I posted him in the name the bull post from years ago.  He had Full Throttle breeding in him within a generation or 2.

It is published in the premium book that the grand drive will take place approximately 2pm every year most years it is later than that.  Just like at Ohio State Fair, he was only looking for the one to win it and couldn't care less how many were over looked in the process.

You probabaly have a good idea of which calves will be sold to traders and which ones won't.  Clip the ones that won't and have those ready for the families to look at.  Or publish a cut off date saying all calves will be available unclipped for trader consideration until such and such date and...
