In my opinion every heifer starts out as a breeding heifer with the exception of free martins. It's up to the owner and feeder as to which way yu want to go with her. As well as your program. I like her think she is a real solid calf either way you go with her.

I've seen big chief in person. He's plenty sound enough, and stout enough needs to be used on a softer made, larger framed cow if I was to guess. I hadn't seen any calves out of him he was just getting around to breed cows.

She's only an April so she has a ways to go but she will get there I think.

I can't say I'm a huge fan of either pic picture A just makes him look bad hipped and b his head is to unnatural I'm assuming the pictures were taken on the halter but I like b because other than his head and neck he looks to be a solid animal.

I use a 1:2 on everything.

I feed it religiously love it. Think it helps add depth and keep cattle on feed. Cheaper alternative to depth charge.

Like xbar said I have two cows that have some god awful udders but all they have to do is produce colostrum and milk for 100-150 days and the calf is weaned and on show feed.
