    Three heifers - opinions please

if they were mine, I would consider their endpoints. Without seeing them in person, I think its hard to gauge what they look like. The top heifer is one I really like and when i blow the pic up I think she has enough belly, not a lot but enough. I think shes a heifer if fed right will probably...

    Hot Simmental bulls

Blaze of Glory hasn't sired a calf has he? I think this guy is looking for a good proven bull, not the most publized and pushed. I don't know if Lautner is a name I associate with producing a game changing maternal bull. I like most of the ones provided, i would also look at Houston and if you...

    Showmanship Profile Stance

Slightly use your show stick to push on the other foot. Not enough to move it, but hard enough to make him think he is going to have to move it, this will make him shift his weight into that foot. You will be able to tell when your pushing hard enough because you will literally see him shift his...

    New MAB Son

I like the fact he is double clean. From the calf pic and to that pic, he has always been packed with meat. Id say from the pic and who is daddy is, id breed him to an extra smooth shouldered clean fronted cow

Discussion: Who is the best Calving Ease bull?

I think you are pretty dang spot on with Bismark. Hard to beat him. Id consider Detour the Red Angus bull. Ask Gargan about him, swears by him. I'd also thow in Final Answer and In Sure

Maine anjou guy looking at Denver bulls

I didnt attend denver, I am just going off of pics and video clips, but I like how you said you skipped over the clubbies and the i-80s. I dont think you missed much. I didnt see one cell shot of a bull that I felt I had to try before he was proven. I have had friends tell me they liked this...

What Club Calf Bull to use on smaller framed cows to make show steers?

A bull  that will add frame for you and do what you need is Monopoly Money! A lot of good cattle out of him, just needs used on smaller cattle. A new bull to watch for in the future to do this is Clean Machine. He isnt proven yet, but I think in time hes going to do the same thing.

    Flushing an Angus cow

You know I've tossed around the idea of mamas boy because I am a fan of wmw and Meyer. Plus I've seen a bunch of good ones like the parks heifer. As far as angus goes, we used to bred a lot to angus and run a lot of angus. We bred 50% of our herd clubby. Then 50% maternal and recips. We like the...

    Flushing an Angus cow

Not lock and load. Not a fan, and really not looking for any other suggestions than the 3 listed. We have thought about maximus on her again, but we have the one daughter and plan to breed her back to him with sexed maximus. I am not using sexed semen because we are reverse sorting

    Flushing an Angus cow

I was talking to my good friend Gargan the other night, and was telling him I was planning on flushing my oldest and favorite cow. Brandi is 14. To me, shes always been out of the box for an angus. Stout like a maine with a big foot and great haired. We've made close to $50,000 on this cow and...
