We have a good set of heifers, Sunseeker-Reserve Chanpion Troy feeder calve show, Monopoly/Witchdr., Tiny Tim/Hairy Bear, Tiger Woods,  and we have a really good bull calve he was grand champion crossbred at Darke County Fair=Tiny Tim/Who Da Man low birth weight 60lb.  Come look this weekend.

Well, I disagree with that, 5th overall steer at ohio state fair and he won our county fair this week.  We h ave a carnac mother that just gave us a winner also, she has twin rainmaker steers this year.  We will be using him again, judge said he was a perfectly sound animal.

People used to hang in the ole west for crimes like this!  I believe it is time too get the hanging tree swinging again.  No respect in this country anymore.

Is there anything t o give a heifer that is popping her pasterns?

Western Ohio, nothing but rain and mud.  The creek gas been out 3 times in our bottom ground,  We got crab to haul, pastures to plant, and beans.  Oh, yes in about 3 weeks hay to make.  I suppose when  we need rain in August we won't see any.

We have a Carnac cow that is great.  She had twin rainmaker bull calfs this year and they are awsome, and she is a wonderfull mother.  She had a Tiny Tim bull calve last year that we are going to show at our county fair this year,  We are very pleased with her.

Just to leave everyone know our cow had her calve last night on her own with out any problems.  My husband sorta likes to have nature take it's course, it worked this time.  Nice heatwave bull calf 100lbs.

Thanks for the info, going to hit her tonight.  She is a big cow so hopefully no problems. 

We have a cow that is 7 days over due, should we induse her or not?  She is carrying a heatwave, just don't want this calve to be too big for her to deliver..

My opion the 5th overall should've been the grand champion.  That steer that won grand, also won Ohio Beef expo.  I think the judges need their eyes tested!

We just had twin rainmaker bull calves out of a carnac cow.  One weighed 80 and the other 85lbs.  They are really nice calves.  Fifty per cent of a calves weight comes from the cow also.  Good luck!

What did the heifers bring?  We watched some of the bulls, but didn't see any the heifers sell.

I'll tell you what we had one of Arby's new angus sub's and it sucked, we won't be wasting our money again.  I'll stay home and make my own tasty Maine / cross thank-you very much!

Easy-Out is really working on our farm, I don't understand why there has not been more on this bull.  We've got good females out of him and the calves just shoot out.  He is a Who Made Who-Payback I believe.
