I think that the next big bull hasn't been discovered yet. Many bulls now are good but not consistent. Heat wave was great in his own right but it now seems that everything is related through him (some may be the false HWs as mentioned earlier). I would rather try outcross genetics.

We use an approximate 12 hours. So if you do it the way we do mid morning should be ok.

I love just looking at cattle especially other people's so I thought I would share some of ours.

They were bred for herding and short legs so that when cows kick they are low enough that it goes over their heads. They are also very quick and intelligent.

I bet anyone that reads this automatically feels their hand.

Can you do some of the colored backgrounds like those on the cattle except with an Aussie on them?

I want to get my cows tested for TH and PHA where can I get this done at? Just like a local vet or do I have to send a sample out for testing? Also what's an approximate cost?

I had the exact same thing with my heifer. I just turned a bull in with her and let mother nature handle the rest. I figure I have time to AI her later for now I just want the calf.

We have semen on the following bulls: Tiger Woods, Walks on Water, Headliner, Paddy O Malley, Breathe Easy, Salty Dog, and Eye Candy. Could anyone tell me what types of cows to use these on? Thanks, Brady

I'm using Eye Candy.

Instead of using a stand I wired my fan to a dolly and put a cement block on the bottom. The dolly cost like ten dollars at an estate sale. Works like a charm.

I agree. That's why I'm going to try to get all clean bulls next time I buy semen. Though TH adds hair and bone I would rather just not have the worry.
