We just got back from a trip to San Antonio and also to visit cattle! But we were there the week earlier and it was in the 80s the whole time. We did Sea World, Six Flags, RiverWalk, Alamo, and visited to cattle ranches. Fun for all.

I'm sorry to hear. Did she take a turn for the worse? We have had them come out of it completely (after 2 weeks down) and others that tried harder but never got up. Seems like the older they are the less fight they have in them. Hard to lose one that way.

Hey everyone! I know this topic was done earlier in the calving season but was wondering where things stand now with everyone. We have 29 calves on the ground. 14 heifers, 15 bulls. 2 to go. Last year we had more bulls than heifers.

Good for you! My donor cow calved just the other day and we were on pins and needles as she is 12 and going to be flushed after this. She had a heifer calf!!
