I am not a big fan of the claim idea.  I would not want someone to be able to claim one of my animals after I have done all the work to get that animal ready to show.  It doesn't matter how much I spend on an animal it still has to be worked with the same amount.  If I am going to work my butt...

I'll be there with a couple of polled hereford heifers. 

I showed under him both times he judged at the Illinois State Fair, and that was some of the most fun I had in the show ring. 

We used it as a third meal last year.  We fed it around noon, and I really liked what I saw.  The calves had more fill, and it did not decrease their appetite any.

I love the andis 2 speeds, they just fit great in my hand.  I use some old sheepsheads for heads.  I love the xblocks, but I generally use a medium blending blade for the tails and I will sometimes backdrag the necks with those also.

I love the work at home.  I could work with the calves all day if I had the choice, it is just so relaxing.  I also love to fit and clip, I would actually probably rather do that than anything else.  The thing I love the most about showing calves though, is just sitting and listening to people...

Jimmy Williams was great when he did our state fair.  He made it fun for all of the showmen, myself included.

I have a 146B x Vogue February heifer for this coming summer and she is super cool.

I fit and clip mostly on my own, but I have helped a few people.  I am just trying to get into the business.  People tell me I do a good job, but I can't judge my own work, so I just want to keep fitting and clipping.

Yeah it did Justin, and then it made a long trip to Tulsa in july.  It is a nice truck and it is reliable so it works. 

I was in Alberta for the Remitall Hereford Sale and I absolutely loved it.  I was a little confused when I looked at a speed limit sign and it said 110, kind of a blond moment I guess.  :) I hope I can get to Agribition, but we will see.
