I was fortune enough to be in attendance and thought it was one heck of a set of females. I really liked the Chi heifer that ended up third and was hoping that the Shorthorn of Vogel's would make the top 5.

I have used ones at a friends house, they seem pretty legit. I like how the motors kick on just a few seconds apart to prevent blown breakers, although I'm not too fond of the price.  (lol)

haha I think I'll just keep her around here actually. I still like her no matter what. That'd be great if I could get her over your way and show her Justin..

They were just bigger, fatter. Neither of them were very stylish I didn't think. Just good structured bigger heifers..

This is a photo taken today of my heifer, she's an April 1st out of Perfect Timing and a Hoosier Hot Shot Cow. The judge told me he thought that she was ideal and had a very nice design, but majorly faulted her on her lack of size and length. What do you guys think?

I've heard Chuck McCullough is very good up in Corydon, IA. Speaking of which I need to get up there to get a heifer's feet trimmed.

Juli that was you with the dog?! I walked by and saw that dog so many times and didnt even know it was you. They did do a great job putting it all on! I was only there on Friday and we had a great breakfast and lunch.

I guess your heifer was a Simmi. I forgot. Lol. I really wanna try to get up there but I'm still not sure if its possible with having to work and all.

This is how I was taught. Just rat your calf's tail out and get it as big as possible, then put a pretty good coat of tail adhesive on it and form it with your hands into the desired shape.

Up in North MO I paid $38.50 to have two done, one cosmetically done and the other just got his whacked off. Im not sure exacfly what the split was on each though. I think he did a pretty good job on her too.

I dont think they are.  Im not sure why though really. I figured they would have it the same weekend as Midwest Mania like last year, but I guess not. I havent found anything about it either.
