    Bodacious

The first one I have due for this year is a bodacious. I used him on a super freak fronted cow, so im curious to see what I get

    Shootings!!! N/C

I cant put into words how horrible this has been... this was unbearable having to watch people drop to their knees praying and crying.  The strangers who stood talking unsure what to do...and powerless to do anything. Newtown is a nice quiet town, for this to happen is beyond words. 20 children...

    Respect

I recently bought a heifer who is vary quiet but has no respect for people. She likes to bunt while being led or rub on us, which I realize could cause an issue so don't allow her to pull it. She also getting her head tied up, and is NOT treated like a pet. While we have been correcting her, now...

    Simmental Heifer Breeding Questions!

I was vary disappointed in my Hustler calves, talk about puds...not a bull I would use again.

    What would you do?

I hope you make out better then mine did, I had the same thing happen to a steer this past year and it only got worse. when he hit 1150 the fluid pocket leg litterally blew out sideways, I brought him to the slaughter house the next day. I tried everything with him, had the vet out several...

    thoughts on heifer too straight

Personally I would care more about temperament...as long as its not so bad that she is buckling over I would breed her outside the clubby mix and put some leg back in her.

    New Heifer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Neat looking heifer, but I would have to agree I wouldn't own a female out of HW unless I was flushing her or using her for beef, they just don't milk.

most powerfull short hiefer Ive seen in YEARS-3-4 plusses-ditto YOU AWTA LOOK

I never asked about their quality, I said they have some nice animals, never said that they dident. I happen to like one of the ones I bought from them, but it was not fun having a half blind calf. Last year I was told that they still had the problem, im curious if its gone or not,  if it is I...

Best breed for grass feeding? Any opinions?

Murray greys, they excell on grass and are truly impressive cattle. I have recently did a 9 year old cow, the butcher ended up buying half from me at $4.50 lb.

To those of Steerplanet. I have a problem and hes a kicker.

Just putting in the time should help. Once in a while you can get one who won't stop. I usually put them infrount of a wall ( you can also duxktape some plastic to it if you really want to scare it out of them.)  Ill start working with them like normal and. If they smack the wall with there foot...

Cows to use Paddy OMalley on

Deep kind of cows that need mass, in my experience he seems to add soundness. Calves are good necked.

    eye candy

I like the bull but out of ten straws I bought last year I used 8 and nothing stuck :/ I would say salty dog is my favorite of their line up. Loved that bull since I saw him at Denver and like his calves even better.

    Walkie Talkie

I tried him on one cow, I'll find out in a few days if it stuck.

    Calf Prices

well, maybe to many people are being burned? I know of a few who had isses with animals they bought from the sales. I myself probably wont ever buy from one again, bought a steer threw the online sale. talked to the sellers who swore by its soundness...when it got here I noticed one of its hind...
