The classic answer to the question- What we need is..... "More cowbell, obviously"

    Natural Stride

Used it two years ago seen no significant change. Like most supplements a lot of variables come into play as to how effective they are. Genetics are genetics and even the best supplements can’t change that.

    Congratulations NASC!

Thanks OhioSteerChick. I was very impressed with the way you worked through your injury this year. Good Job! Hows the hand? “OSC received a nasty rope burn on her hand a week ago Saturday night but that didn’t slow her fair activities down any.” Did the move home go OK? Our red bench flew...

Congrats to the daughters of Nasc!

Thanks LT! It has been a busy week. We just got home and the camper unloaded, still have the trailer to unload but that may have to wait for another day. OhioSteerChick did a great job as well and I didn’t know till afterwards she was competing with a pretty nasty rope burn on her hand. Gutsy...

Ohio State Fair - Steer show predictions?

Some of the good ones “Clark County” are out of the picture now because of winning their county fairs………. I will start with DeFranks. They have won it two years in a row and to pull off the three-peat would be amazing.  A very nice hard working family. Otts won the Expo so you gotta think they...

    Heat Wave passes away

We have had our ups and downs with heatwave, Our fat steers have been awesome while our females have not. When used right this bull produces exactly what he was bred for. For me he has earned a spot along side Ildeno Sugar Ray Heat Seaker and Who Made Who as Clubby Bull Icons.

    How to practice fitting?

Find a local breeder that has a production sale every year and offer to help them get their cattle ready for sale. Around here they always seem to be looking for extra hands……. Be prepared to be a gofer at first but when you do get a chance to actually work on the calves pay attention to all...

    Fat Ration

It’s a starch thing. It will work if you can get the calves to eat it.
