Split it up with your feedings. So if you are feeding twice a day than yes 1.5oz, if your feeding 3 times a day than 1oz per feeding.

Well as the owner of the bull. He makes really nice calves, but his birth weights are sometimes very heavy. He makes better steers than females and will always add more bone and hair. If you have any other question please reply back. Thanks dhs

Here's a pic of the calf's dam and a pic of Fringe. We also added a pic of her 1/2 sib from last year, this heifer was sired by New Vision.

We got our first Fringe calf, a heifer out of a Sin City shorthorn cow. We estimate her birth weight between 65 and 70lbs. We got a pic of her at about 12 hours old, it isn't the best but I just wanted to post it. We named her Iris, it seems to fit her.     Thanks, dhs

I got to go with the COLTS. It would just be wrong going against my home team, but i bet it pretty close though.

We are feeding 3lbs/head/day right now. We are still feed calves the same amount of Showmaster's Calf Grower and Beet Pulp each day, but at night we turn them out into another pen so they can eat just hay and Winning Fill. Seems to be working perfect and our calves have not ate any less of there...
