I looked at a couple nice My Turn calves last night.  A bull and a heifer.  The heifer was out of I believe a draft pick cow.  Don't hold me to that.  I know she had a real nice bull calf from My turn last year.  I am not for sure what kind of cow the bull was out of.

Were they heifers or bulls?  What kind of heifers did you use him on.  I have a stout made sunseeker/strictly business heifer I was thinking of using him on.  How sound are they?

I have been doing some research because I am picking mine up this weekend but in and around Ohio the MVE seems to be the popular choice.

That is great.  I am taking an A.I. class in a few weeks so hopefully by this time next year I can say the same thing.  Though my wife doesn't seem to have much confidence in my abilities.  Any pointers?

I bred a hard core heifer to him last year with sexed heifer semen but it didn't stick.  I have one straw (sexed heifer) left and was trying to decide what heifer I should use it on.  I have a Who heifer out of a PB simi cow, a sunseeker heifer out of a commercial angus and a sunseeker heifer...

Has anyone had or seen any calves out of King Meyer?  I have seen some pictures of some Mama Boy calves but haven't heard of any King Meyer yet.  Just curious what people opinions were.  Thanks!

Dirty Hairy is 3/4 maine and he is not a cow killer.  Seen some nice calves out of him and his new full brother dirty harry 2 looks pretty good.

I agree I was pretty impressed.  Debating on whether or not to go because last year got ridiculous.  Everybody talking and not paying attention it got pretty messed up at the end.

My brother-in-law has had a few really nice My Turn calves this year and last.  Haven't seen any Point Taken calves that I know of.
