    ~~~Classified Success Stories - Post them here!~~~
    Purchased a heifer from Showman08 this past weekend.  Heifer was bought without driving to look at her and the description was spot on.  Wonderful people to work with and a flawless transaction.  Heifer has done nothing to impress us so far with her attitude and willingness to learn.  Thanks to...
    DMSO
    From what I have "heard" a guy that used this on himself when "he" had a knew get twisted up in football crushed an tylenol, or ibuprofen and it helped with the pain and swelling.  Worked up until the Sports Med doc caught wind of it.  He...... frowned on the use, for lack of better terms.
    What do you think of this heifer?
    beet pulp will help drop her middle along with some winning fill or Depth charge.  We like both of those.  The brisket may be a little tougher to help out.  Diet can help clean up a front, but we reserve that for breds that we are feeding lots of fill, instead of grain, to avoid calving...
    Blaze face Simmy Cow A.I. 'ed to Fat Butt *Pics Up*
    Looks like a happy little pair you have there.  I am curious, how far back does chrome go on the dam side of the heifer?  At times if you stack up a few generations of baldy/chrome you will see a really shiny one come out and with Fatt Butts ability to throw the bald face, it could be the reason.
    Feeding bailed corn stalks
    Have heard that high nitrate levels are found in the first 10-12 inches of stalk right above the ground.  Does that sound right?
    Help calming a calf down
    we had a calf that was wound up a little to tight and started melatonin.  seemed to work after a few days and actually grew some hair in the process.  It is a sleeping assist pill for people, but in cattle it seemed to grow some hair as well.
    Lucky Dice (Simmy) SPOTS !!!
    Rendition lives just up the road a bit from us.  His calves have had a really good summer and I imagine you will see more of that in the future.  I am friends with the owners and they will be the first to tell you that he works better on solids as far as color is concerned.  If you put him on a...
    THE COUNTY/STATE FAIR THREAD 2011
    Out of the last 30 days we have been at a show for 20 of them.  Needless to say, the heifers are right at home wherever they happen to be laying down.  We started at Jr Nationals where our % heifer was 10th overall Bred and Owned.  From there we came home and two days later went to one of our...
    LOOONG short trip to Sedalia, MO
    Made it home from Jr Nationals in Sedalia with only one flat!!!  That is an improvement on the two that we had on the way up there last Sunday.  What was normally a decent drive turned into a ..... pain in the tail.  Both of our kids had a fun time though.  Son enjoyed his last year in novice...
