I have heard that  a lot of cattle will not eat it if it is older and to keep an eye on the dates on bags. If it doen't work, maybe try a new bag.  Like I said, our cattle have never liked the stuff, no matter how fresh it was, so my experience is limited in this.

I would suggest at least testing it out sometime soon. You may find he doesn't like it at all or it doesn't give you the tanked up look you are after. You don't want to find out a week before the show that it is not going to work and have to scramble for an alternative. I'm sure there are plenty...

Anybody use this bull? I realize he has produced some winners, but his growth number are not impressive. Just wondering if they do grow outside the show string. Thanks in advance for any replies!

Why won't my photos load to the classifieds properly. One loads, but it is almost unrecognizable. Never had this problem before! >:(

Corn oil is Cheap!!!! It is an inexpensive way to put on finish in the last couple of months. That's not to say you don't have to have a good ration to go with it, but it is a quick and cheap top dress. Does he show more Angus influence or Hereford? This may effect the way you have to plan out...

Yes! We have used it for about 5 years and love it. The major drawback I see is it does not have a section for steers like it does for bulls, cows, and  calves. For us, this is not really an issue because we usually only have one show steer or two on the place past weaning, so we inventory them...
