I would contact the people you bought them from and they might be able to give you some suggestions based on the cows you bought. I agree. The previous owners not only know the pedigree, but can also give you the more heritable traits of your cows. Ask them lots of questions; drill down!

It is a little more expensive but we love the new Sullivan's Volumizer Shampoo. I was kind of skeptical of it actually adding volume. What it does do is make the hair a lot more manageable. We have Hereford so that is pretty important. Don't use Orvis. It will dry out the skin.
