    Draxxin, Micotil, Nuflor

Most of my usage is on the swine side of things, but we have researched Baytril vs Draxxin pretty thoroughly, and we use very little Draxxin. Baytril is very affective when dealing with respiratory issues in pigs. Haven't had to use for my calves, but have used Nuflor in the past with good success.

    Fully Automatic Opinion?

Saw him at stud and he looked real good. I would be fine with using him, very good bull.

    Bull named Blue Chip?

I wanna say Greg Kroupa owned the bull, or at least had a lot of calves by him. That was a long time ago. You might want to call him.

    Black baldy simmental bull

I would also throw out Dream Catcher, Cut Above(Fat Butt), and Remington Lock NLoad. Saw several fat butts at Iowa State fair that were very impressive, big boned and stout. Can't say I have been impressed with the Excaliber's that I have seen. I was very disappointed as the ones I saw were very...

    Grizzly

Although with Hotmail (heatseeker x Mailman) in his back ground the potential for hyper calves is certainly a possibility.

What Maine bull would you use on this cow ?

2 other bulls I would consider: 1- Predator- seen some really nice calves by him. 2- Hard Whiskey- damn impressive bull, stout, sound, and hairy. Don't know how he would calve though I do think Predator's are pretty easy. Good luck looks like a nice cow.

Angus bull for hip, bone, and neck...

Century Impressive is a Northern Improvement son that has never been promoted, but I would urge you to seriously consider this bull to improve your Angus herd. He is way better than what the picture is. We have several females out of him and absolutely love them. As an added bonus he throws nice...

Most unlikely reserve champ/thanks all for advice

Cool! Last year the same thing happened at our county fair, a returning bucket bottle calf got reserve. It was a twin I raised and sold to a neighbor, beat some high dollar ones, made it a lot of fun.

    Mineral Question

In my experience they will definitely eat more mineral when they are hungry. The quality of grass definitely makes a difference as well. I would buy some loose salt and mix in with mineral to reduce consumption. Play with how much until you get proper consumption.

    Best Steer Ever

Ya- the clone came in 2010 and their was quite a stir about it. The original won in 2008, I judged a show he was at, and all I could think was "WOW!" http://www.cattlevisions.com/Composite/unprecedented.php They now have a clone they are promoting as a bull.

    Best Steer Ever

Faber's Iowa State Fair champion. HW x Jack Frost. The clone wasn't as good in my opinion, but same result  :)

    SS Ebony's Premium Blend

I have never used him nor seen any calves by him, but I thought long and hard about him that's for sure. I did talk to the owner about him and how he compares to Grandmaster. He told me they were a little larger framed, not as deep flanked, but are stouter boned. The depth part surprises me, as...

Had trouble with one bull 2 years ago, last year no issues with same bull as well as others.

    Pays to Dream

I have never used Pays to Dream, but am thinking about him for next year. I have used Dream Catcher and Built Right on Angus cows. If he breeds anything like them I think you will like the heifers, but the bulls may not have enough power to them. I got only bulls out of Grandmaster x Angus and...
