    Penicillin and Nuflor

Baytril is certainly not illegal to use in food producing animals. It can be purchased thru a DVM. If the vet does not want to use that he/she could recommend something else, Comparing the use of a legal antibiotic to cure a sick animal to the use of clenbuterol is quite a stretch to say the...

    Penicillin and Nuflor

I see many sensitivity reports on a weekly basis. When you want to cure a sick pig treat early with Baytril. Ask your vet. We have run trials vs. draxxin and have been very pleased.

    Penicillin and Nuflor

Get some Baytril from your vet. Nuflor would be ok, but Baytril is very effective against most everything.

Any one have any pictures of BIM at stud or mature pics?

No picture, but I did see him last week at stud. If I was breeding for show steers/heifers I would breed every one of my th free cows to him. He looks awesome. He is small, but very thick, big boned, sound and hairy. There are several Walks Alone sons at Hawkeye and Nichols. That line of...

Re: Fat Butt gestation lengths (with pics!)

Always great to come home and find mother and newborn doing well. Good luck with her and keep us posted. Thanks for the pictures, looks like I may have to add some Fat Butt to my list.

Re: Fat Butt gestation lengths (with pics!)

If you guys get a chance I would love to see pictures of these. Have not heard much about Fat Butt calves, only seen a few pictures in the add not much else. Saw a couple bull calves out of him last fall, had a little front but otherwise pretty good. These were purebreds.

    Simmental bull to add power...

Grandmaster will certainly do that. Probably others as well but he comes to mind very quickly.

    I-80

Don't give up. Keep tubing him if needed. I don't like giving them shots-makes his neck soreif given there. I usually just put some on their tongue. Keep working him, try to help him stand. Sometimes this helps. How is the heifer doing? Is she licking him and giving him attention? Sometimes it...

    JF American Pride

Saw him in Ankeny at Nicholls. He looked nothing like his picture. That was about a year ago. He may have changed alot, I don't know. Time will tell but at the time their were several Simmental bulls I liked much better.

Breeding suggestions on this PB Angus heifer ?

Not a highly publicized bull- but I would highly recommend Century Impressive. Owned by Century Acres Angus, Vincent, Iowa. He is bred similiar to Lutton, and has sired a lot of good ones in limited use. Heifer safe and high quality. Very nice heifer, by the way.

    Walks Alone

As long as your cows are sound he should work from what I have seen. If they are from clubby genetics be careful.
