Love 'em, I really think it helps when we do a large group for ease of sorting.  We can keep sorting hot ones off and then seem to get the more 'bashful' ones.

There ARE calves on the ground. They seem to be all over the board. From really good to NOT.  This is from 4 different breeders that I have talked to.  Just what I have heard.....

Sullivans Chill 602 cow was cloned a few times I think.  I am not sure how it worked, but, that might be a place to start.

If I am calving in a lot I give Draxxin and 5 cc of pen, STOPPED any navel infection and other problems.

I am with TJM on this one, NI works good on straight bred, but I have had some bigguns out of cross-breds. Northern Improvements sire was not even close to an easy calver!
