I have seen this before and it is always funny.  Can you imagine if someone did all these things!!!  I think they would be taken to the funny hospital. I suggest if you do any of things make sure your spouse is not with you.

Sorry to hear that red.  I know every calving season is so exciting for me.  Last year ours were not exactly what we wanted for the showring.  They were great fat cattle though.  This year is different.  We have 10 heifers and 2 bull calves.  6 heifers and 2 bulls are pretty nice.  What we find...

Add another vote for Maines.  Ours cows are so easy to work with and they are great moms.  I am not sure if you are raising them for show cattle or for fat cattle, but either way I think you will be happy.  Good Luck with your decision.
