Our show was last Tuesday the 21st.  How did you do?  We have friends that show over there.

We had our County Fair last week.  My son won Junior Showman and I am very proud of him.  We also had 2 Champion Heifers, Champion Maine Steer and three calves place in the 10 ultrasound carcass contest.  I have attached a couple photos.

We have two Ali cows.  Both have decent udders and both have produced the best calves the last two years.  They did not have huge udders with their first calves, but still milked well.  I wouldn't trade either one of them.  They are both great mothers.

I agree with you whole heartedly oakbar.  There was alot of Bush bashing going on not to long ago.  I personally like political post.  They offer a different side that I may not have seen or they keep me informed on new policies that may affect me. Talking politic isn't any different than...

Gidget I just had to post this pic of our heifer that is almost a twin to yours.  This heifer is out of Q-dog.  See if anyone esle thinks I raided your pasture.

That is so funny.  We had one do that a couple of years ago.  first he sat down like a dog then he fell over.  You could walk over and around him and he wouldn't move.  We walked away and let him lay there about 10 mins when he thought we weren't paying attention he popped his head up.

Good to know.  We have a crazy lady in our county writing into our paper all them time about animal welfare.  I think I will copy and save this for just the right time.
