stay on top of that cough!  this is a good time to get pnemonia!  if you can get a nebulizer that would work wonders.  we have one here and everytime someone gets a bad cough we break it out.  if puts of a albuterol mist that breaks the mucus up.  you can also get guisenifen syrup it also works...

We have 3 uprights that we keep full here at our place.  When I first ran an ad in the paper someone from the State Board of Health stopped by.  We told him where it was processed and he said you are fine then and keep doing what we where doing. Our processor has state inspector onsite everyday.  That inspector oversees the animal from the time it walks into the door.  This allows us to sell by the piece.  To sell out of state it would have to be federally inspected.  We have other processing plants around that are only state inspected...

We sell ours for $1.25 live weight (Indiana) we haul it to the butcher and the customer pays the processing fee .  We processed 14 calves last year.  We also sell by the piece for the folks that can't afford  1/4 or a 1/2.  If you have your animal processed at a state inspected facility you can...
