for SQ on calves I like to use 18 gauge 1inch, at an angle and for IM on calves I us 1 1/2 x 18 gauge for SQ on cows I use 16 x 1in and 16 x 1 1/2 for IM. cows tend to bend anything smaller than 16 to easy. IMO

i knew there weren't any calves out of him yet. I was wondering being out of Ali, if you thought it would be ok to use him on heifers with heatwave on the dam side. I don't think i want to try it but wanted some other opinions, it doesn't post his bw anywhere, would like to know what that is. Do...

Does anybody know anything about this bull? Has he been used much, what is his bw, advisable for heifers, etc.?
