    2020 Denver Bulls

I can’t contribute because I couldn’t make it to Denver this year. I was hoping to find out everyone’s thoughts on the clubby or Maine display bulls. I guess this is why I stopped checking this forum on a regular basis.

    2020 Denver Bulls

If I was to just read these last couple pages of posts, I would think this thread was mostly about the Shorthorn breed.

    Fu Manchu and brisket disease

I know of two instances of calves calved in Wyoming at 5100 ft above sea level. One stayed in Wyoming and died before the county fair and the other went to Colorado (also died). The dams as far as I know never had calves out of other bulls that had problems.

    Fu Manchu and brisket disease

http://csu-cvmbs.colostate.edu/Documents/ilm-high-mountain-dz.pdf I can’t say for sure it’s because of Fu but I have heard of a few fu calves dying of brisket disease.

    Fu Manchu and brisket disease

Thank you for your response! Our high seller this year was a Fu heifer. We thought about flushing the cow to Fu until we heard about a few calves dying of brisket disease.

    Bulls up for discussion/sale.

The older bull is a Yellow Jacket son out of Dragor Donor 501. The yearling is a son of the older bull. Both bulls are vigorous breeding bulls and are guaranteed. $3000 for the older and $5000 for the younger or lets make a deal. (I’m just the messenger. Call Kelly Burch in Casper Wyoming if...

    Non paying show cattle trader

I’m going through something different but similar. A taxidermist was supposed to do a shoulder mount on a deer I shot almost two years ago. I kept getting a run around so I called the sheriffs office and they said because it’s a civil matter then they don’t get involved. Their advice was to take...

It seems to be working. They lead like ladies and a gentleman yesterday. Cotton roping gloves are a must though.

    Halter breaking.

Oh and the 3 we used it on, we knew were going to be jack wagons because we tied them up earlier this year. There’s a couple more that will get it today after yesterday because we are trying to stay ahead and do it right rather than let one figure out how to bow his shoulders and take his head...

    Halter breaking.

3rd day of being tied and first day of being lead out of the catch pen. The cruise control halter didn’t cut up any of them. We used the rope halter when they were tied but only used the cruise control when leading a few of them out. Then back to the rope halter while standing. They all are...

    Ace or Thorazine?

I don’t know... You must have felt like the heifer was good enough to go to nationals and is probably a key breeding piece in your operation so spaying is not the answer. If you knew before hand that she was going to be difficult while in heat then a cidr might have been the way to go. Not going...

Everything Show Cattle is no more

Allow for people to post their animals for sale in this Big Show forum. People just aren’t going to go searching for their next steer/heifer project especially when it was so readily available on Facebook to see what was for sale. I mean really how many people come here and then go to the cattle...
