    Red Steer

Can you post a picture of your cow? Your cow could be homozygous black with the diluter gene. Hence the smokey colored calves.

Breeding recommendations for a Heatwave Cow

This bull is Uptown Funk. THF/PHAF. We bought a cane from Chris Wilson and used all 10 straws. I attached a picture so you can decide for yourself.

    Club Calf Bull Semen Quality

I think what needs to be said is some of these clubby bulls get stuck at a stud collection faculty and they get collected way too often. Whereas most PB bulls get to run the range and live cover cows now and then.

    Halter Breaking a Heifer

Not knowing the personality of the heifer a hotshot might just make her explode.  Someone behind her ringing her tail wont work either?  Do you have another calf that will lead that she can follow?  A donkey is the very good option.  I would do a little searching in your area.

    MAB bull

After watching the Hill County fair here in Montana today, if I were you I would AI your cow to a bull with some Char influence like Solid Gold.  There are some good MABs but like was said earlier that the cow has to be framey and very smooth shouldered.  I can't tell in your picture.

    MAB bull

The cow has to have a smooth shoulder and great fronted. I've seen some good ones but I've seen some that were really coarse.

Attention all Clubby breeders. Need your thoughts

I have two cows that are probably a frame score of about a 4.5. One is a point taken daughter. The other is a heat wavexAli. Both have smaller calves while even bred to supposed cow killers.

Attention all Clubby breeders. Need your thoughts

I have to ask right off the bat of what is the frame score of both cows?

    Time Saver

We're looking at buying a THF Monopoly granddaughter and she was AI-ed to Time Saver. It was the first time I have heard about him and I haven't found out how his calves have done yet. Any thoughts or ideas? Thanks in advance.

    20 million illegal aliens

What I can't believe is not that Killary has directly or indirectly been associated with 47 mysterious deaths, the emails, Bengazhi, etc, but that her voters don't care.  She could get on TV and confess to all the stuff that she has been apart of and they would love her for it. The blacks need...

    Show Cattle Ethics

I believe show industry can be whatever people want it to be and not the same for every kid. I've seen kids get beat. It learned far more than kids that get all the work for them. I've heard of people starting a herd just off showing a few heifers or steers. It's a great niche market and one...

    Shorthorn weaning weights.

Anyone ever thought that maybe bison are built like they are to be able to plow through deep snow? Maybe that also why they're really hairy in front but not in the rear.

    Shorthorn weaning weights.

Just playing the devil's advocate; Bison actually have small birthweights because they have to. A larger birth weigh means death and not passing on any traits. Natural Selection. Plus they mature slower so they don't breed until their 2nd birthday. Just Saying.

    Developing Bull Prospect Opinions

I agree. We shouldn't keep hard keepers around and shouldn't let them pass on that trait to their offspring.
