    Don't  have anyone growing heifers for show cattle in these parts the 4-h just does steers for beef production so I don't know what it takes.

    No they are loose you can pick them up, just attatched to skin at head don't know why or how they turn to horn as just hanging by skin she is getting old 11yrs or so still raises a good calf. Like her a unique cow any one else have similar?

    This cow has these horns growing but they are not attached to skull they grow from skin and are loose looks funny when she shakes her head they flop around. What would she be called horned,scures or what.she is a Simmental shorthorn cross most of her calves have been polled.

    I have used a Gelbvieh bull semen that was named Blue Suede Shoe he is tan in color and throws nice small calves good heifer bull imo
