RUMOR - Jakes proud jazz mulefoot carrier??

This sounds an awful lot like a rumor that was on here a couple years ago that jazz had died.  Sounds to me like a bunch of jealous people trying to bring down Derek's sale to me.

Pretty sure she will be a 7/16 Th's because they don't allow the sire to count since his percentage is so low.

    My favorite song today

Around here it is more like remember when could call in and request a song!!  They play the same songs at the same time everyday.  Most of the DJ stuff is recorded and played at the appropriate time!  But they are the only country station in town so we don't have much choice.

    jakes proud jazz calves

The first question is what do you want to do?  Do want show cattle, raise bulls for commercial guys?  Also makes a difference what the pedigrees are of the cows the jpj  calves are to really recommend bulls  imo.

How is Jakes Proud Jazz for calving ease

I would still take my chances with JPJ on hiefers over anything with trump or rodeo drive etc. in it!  The bull isn't the only one that contributes to birth weight either!!!  All of our hiefers here are breed to a JPJ son with no trouble the last two years.  The calves are built the way they...

    Shorty hf bulls

In my little slice of the world big bulls/cows only work if they are easy keeping  and the momma milks well!  I can think of only one large framed bull that we had that did that over the years!  Those hard keeping big framed cattle don't do the trick in the feed lot either!  To many shorthorn...

2011 truck - gas or diesel??

Last time I checked the vortec's were gas hogs too.  Pull a trailer on the interstate at those speeds and for a distance and see how those gasers hold up.  The fuel milage has to go up on the d maxs over the last generation, nobody I know loved the fuel milage of theirs.  Another thing to...

    Tabasco, Dakota Sunrise ???? Shorthorns

Dakota Sunrise sold in Jungels Durhams for Denver sale.  He is a SBR Tsunami  son out of a Kieth Lauer bred cow.  Going to be a 5 to 6 frame bull if memory serves me.    When I saw him in North Dakota at Derek's open house he was the bull that was kind of the unknown of the pen pen due to his...

High Selling Shorthorn bull Douglas Test Station

They used to feed like an 80% oat ration back in the 90's. They actually do an excellent job of developing bulls there.   The birth weights will come down 7 to 10 lbs when you bring those bulls down to the midwest, at least ours did still wasn't hiefer friendly but no problems on cows. Really...
