I will use him again this year. Heat wave is a cow killer but everybody still uses him.

You guys would think a lot different about things if you had to live with the indains everyday like me.

We bought some heifers and had to brand them yesterday.

3 days old weight 110 lbs. We had to pull him but it wasn't a hard pull. he is out of a polled hismen x angus cow. I took the pics with my phone.

When we had it we had some cows with BVD with free calves and some calves BVD and cows free. At that time we where useing a killed vac program but since then we changed to mod live.

benefits of testing is that you do get hire prices on your feeder calve if you can stay bvd- PI free. I think it's worse then Tich. I wish every breeder that sells bulls and heifers/ cows should have to test them.

you can get it cheaper from different labs if you do it yourself your looking at around 1.50 to 2.50 a head depending on how many tests you have.

I got a grey and white bull calf out of MilkMan. He is really good I just wish he wasn't curly.

We have to brad them. It's a state law. Even the 4-h's that buy out of state have to put the 4-h or ffa brand on them before they can show.

Yep That's what we had to do. I cried :'( Some of the calves looked fine and others where deformed.

you can't get rid of BVD-P-I you have to sell them to salter. If you send them to a sale barn you need to inform them of the BVD so some one don't buy them and take it back to there heard. If you have ever had it you will understand you don't want anybody else to go through that. We test...

I have been testing my calves for about 7 years now. Test your cows first and your calves then after that you just have to test the calves. I had to start when I bought a yearling bull from a big time bull sale in Iowa and he brought it back to my heard. I lost half of my heard to him.

He is 3 days old. He weighted 85 lbs. and is out of a MGM Grand (Black dice)x Simmy cow. Sorry the picuters aren't great he didn't want his picuter taken.
