I have had good luck with him. My NMSF champion bull was out of him. He is a PHA carrier. I also used a PHA free son of his for clean up this year.

The Judge at are county fair this year. Told everybody right before he picked the grand that he isn't a steer judge and didn't know what he was doing out there and it showed when he picked the grand and res. He went on about how good the 2 steers we raised where and how they were sound finshed...

The New Mexico State fair through that rule out at the fair this year. Next year if you have a paper you can show. They changed it when there was only 3 heifers showed up so they went to the junior barn and told the kids if they had a heifer that was papered that wasn't hereford or angus they...

I think the maine people tried when the maine tainers got started and they told them they didn't want cross breeds.  ::) I think if they have a paper of some kind they should be able to show in there breeds or all other breeds. the jackpot show for everybody would be nice too.

I agree that we do need them to sale our cattle I just don't think it's right to pay for them. The heifer in the pic is a sun seeker x puttin on the ritz (Endangered Species x Foreplay) I sold her in the sidwell and Gabel sale a couple of weeks ago. She went to texas.

I was wanting to go but none of my heifers are high percents this year. I hate the 75% rule. I might be helping some friends if they are going.

me too but I don't think it right to have to pay for them. they should come with the papers. I heard they are doing doing this to get rid of the maine tainers.

i agree they did it to themselves. but on the other hand my family owns a GMC dealership. so we are worried about whats going to happen to the smaller guys.

i have seen some good heifers out of him. a little to cluby for me but nice heifers. the only steers i have seen where to strait.

It's not this weekend but, the sidwells and gables sale is next weekend. They have some really good ones this year. I have a steer and 2 heifers in the sale too. I'm sure you could go look and bid on the phone or on line. there web site is www.sidwellhayandcattle.com.

cows that need stoutend up and that are needing some more bone. he said smaller prettier type works really well. i used him on some of my smaller maine cows and couple of my angus type we will see what works best.
