Justin, actually I have a red neck roan full sister on the ground now that I honestly think may be better than 8W? (8W was that cows first calf as a 2 year old) She is coloured about the same as Rockstar.

I was always told by the old timers that using a white bull now and then would help to darken the reds in succesive generations, would help to get rid of spotting and keep the colours true. I really hate Orange ones! >:(
